Woven Blanket

For my final major project, To My Only Desire, I created an oversized woven baby blanket to use as a prop and for styling in my photoshoots. Throughout the project, this blanket represents safety and becomes a shield to the subject, offering an escape from hysteria and melancholy. Using combinations of different honeycomb patterns, I attempt to recreate the look and feel of a muslin blanket. With cream, off-white, and even pink yarns, this blanket comes to life with texture and softness.

It all started out as an idea, what if our baby blankets grew with us?
